FoxBury Highland Games have been cancelled this year.
The Celtic Classic has since blossomed into one of the largest Highland Games and Festival in North America. Annually, over 250,000 visitors come to Historic Bethlehem to join in this celebration of all things Celtic.
The first Edinboro Highland Games and Scottish Festival was held in April 1993, after eight months of planning in Dr. Tim Thompson’s communication classes. On a day featuring typical Scottish weather, a crowd of five hundred enjoyed two pipe bands, one vendor, kids’ games, and student athletic competitions.Crowds of five thousand or more now enjoy the annual games that feature an array of competitions, world-class musicians, fine gift vendors, and the gathering of Scottish clans.
McLain Celtic Festival​
Come one, come all to the 21st Annual McLain Festival. Join us once again for this great family-oriented event. There will be Highland athletics, events for children, Border Collie demonstrations,, Celtic music, Irish and Scottish Dancers, re-enactors, "Bonny Knee" competition for all men wearing kilts, vendors with gifts from Ireland, Scotland and Wales and, of course, delicious food.
Time: 9 AM to 5 PM
Follow the skirl of bagpipes to beautiful Ligonier at Idlewild Park for the annual gathering of the Clans. Join your freinds, neighbors and fellow fans of all things Scottish at the Ligonier Highland Games.
